The upcoming Alice: Madness Returns is a sequel to the 2000 PC game American McGee’s Alice. Considering the eleven year gap some people may have missed out on the original, but series mastermind American McGee aims to rectify the situation.
McGee recently talked about how online multiplayer wouldn’t fit with the Alice franchise, but did add that the game will have plenty of DLC.
"There will be DLC in the form of dresses that the player can download and Alice can wear," he revealed. "Those dresses come with special abilities and enhance how you play through the game."
He then went on to explain how console gamers will be able to experience the original Alice when they purchase the sequel.
"There’s also going to be pretty significant release which is the original Alice brought over to the consoles so that a person who’s purchased Madness Returns gets a download code and is able to bring Alice 1 onto their console and play through the entire original game alongside playing Madness Returns," he said.
Alice: Madness Returns is set to come out on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and Mac on June 14.
