The recent departure of Ken Kutaragi may have surprised some, but following his most recent "promotion," it was an expected move. The father of the PlayStation was a very quotable fellow — even if it was hard to understand much of what he said. 1UP has put together a touching tribute for Ken, composed of a compilation of pictures of his smiling mug and some of his most memorable quotes, including such gems as: "[PS3 is] for consumers to think to themselves ‘I will work more hours to buy one’. We want people to feel that they want it, irrespective of anything else," and, "You can communicate to a new cybercity. This will be the ideal home server. Did you see the movie ‘The Matrix’? Same interface. Same concept. Starting from next year, you can jack into ‘The Matrix’!" That second one was from 2000, mind you.
