It takes a keen pair of eyes to spot big-time leaks like this one, and thankfully for fans of both the Street Fighter series and the upcoming Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds GamerNode’s Associate Editor has just such a pair of eyes. With said optical organs, Jason Fanelli noticed that a picture from a shopping site’s preview held a surprise character for the game not yet announced.
That’s right, Akuma, the prayer-bead wearing younger brother of Ryu’s sensei, looks to be joining the incredible line-up already unveiled for Marvel vs. Capcom 3. This news comes from the picture above as seen on the website ShopTo.net.
Apparently, with a pre-order of MvC3 on ShopTo, shoppers receive a free Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Comic Book for which the website offers a few pictoral peeks. One of the pictures probably should have stayed under wraps.
While there’s no official confirmation from Capcom yet, it’s a solid bet that Akuma will be the newest contender in what promises to be a great fighting game. Look for Akuma and the rest of the gang to hit store shelves February 15 in North America.
