It's been six weeks since the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) refused to give Manhunt 2 an age-based rating in the UK. This, in turn, made it impossible for Rockstar Games to sell Manhunt 2 in the UK market.
Now, Rockstar is fighting back. Yesterday, Rockstar appealed that decision to the Video Appeals Committee (VAC), which has the power to overrule decisions made by the British Board of Film Classification. Who knew?
No word as to what grounds Rockstar is filing the appeal over. Maybe the game is so graphic, that it's lost all of it's meaning as an extremely violent game...or something like that. The VAC is currently forming a panel that will vote on the appeal.

So basically they are just blocking the sale of the game adults only or not...freakin' douche bags
I really don't even understand the point of having an AO rating. No one will publish a game rated that, and no major retail outlets will carry it.
Yeah, I've always wondered the same thing Brendon. I guess it's for games like this, just to show that it's worse than an M rated game. It's so violent/graphic, that it can't be sold to the public.
There's a line where games get too graphic, but it's sadly very skewd.
This game isn't graphic. Rockstar isn't capable of producing nice graphics, just nice game :)
