Capcom keeps giving us more and more reasons to get excited for Super Street Fighter IV, be it the return of the car-punching and barrel-busting bonus stages or the new and returning fighters joining the roster. Joystiq recently got their hands on a fact sheet detailing two new online modes, Team Battle and Endless. For Team Battle, teams of up to four players will compete in a round robin tournament where winner stays and teammates rotate in with each loss. You can control a team yourself or assign the slots to other players.
Endless Mode is more intriguing though. It is a one-on-one match where the winner stays and fights the next person queued in the lobby. The winner will continue to fight until beaten, when the new winner takes his place. I can see this mode being popular among serious SFIV players and a platform for serious bragging rights. Imagine getting a streak going and then being able to tell all your friends you beat 50 players… in a row.
