It’s rare when your own website spoils a character roster for your game, but that is just what happened when Sega put up the Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing official site. The intrepid hackers over at tssz/news went to work decompliling the website and uncovered some of the unannounced character roster, tracks, and special All Star Moves.
Joining Sonic will be Amy Rose and Big the Cat, both from the Sonic Adventure series, the Bonanza Bros, Akira and Jacky from Virtua Fighter, Ulala from Space Channel 5, Opa-Opa from Fantasy Zone, and the mice from Chu Chu Rocket. All Star Moves include the Space Cat from Chu Chu Rocket, Parts Shop Balloon from Fantasy Zone, and the Bonanza Bros. zeppelin.
This game just shot up from passive dismissal to becoming a game that I am very interested in. Sega has a robust history of characters and worlds to draw upon and it looks like they are tapping deep into it to deliver the ultimate Sega fan service.
