Doug Lombardi, marketing VP for Valve, has just confirmed that the developer will be releasing ports of some Valve titles for the Mac. However, this confirmation came in a unique way, the kind of marketing trick that only Valve employs.
The teaser pictures (one of which is pictured above) were the announcement. There’s a few more, including some Mac ad-style pictures for Half Life 2, Portal, Team Fortress 2, and Left 4 Dead. They can be found at the link below.
It has yet to be announced whether or not Steam will be a necessary component for these Mac ports, or when these titles can be expected to make their first Apple endorsed appearance. Mac users, rejoice!
