Take Two strikes again! The announcement came today that the company would be delaying the release of the upcoming open-world crime game, Mafia 2, until their fiscal fourth quarter, or sometime between August and October of 2010. The game was originally set to come out last year, then was delayed until this May, and has now been pushed back for what we hope is the last time.
Also, Take Two announced the shorter delay of another open-world title, Red Dead Redemption, from April until May 18. The delay on this Western may not be quite so long, but for players hoping for something to satiate their open-world sweet tooth, they’ll have to be patient awhile longer.
