Last Friday, BioWare gave fans a glimpse of what they can expect during multiplayer combat in the company’s upcoming MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Thus far, the developer has revealed little in-game footage of actual players working together as a team. In the most recent video, which was filmed at E3 a few weeks ago, a player takes control of a Jedi Consular – the primary healing/crowd control class for the Republic side. Also represented are the Jedi Knight, Smuggler, and Trooper. Viewers are also given another samplling of the dynamic voice-acted dialogue system, a feature that BioWare has said will provide more immersion for the player.
Star Wars: The Old Republic has a launch window of Spring 2011. However, those wishing to fulfill their Star Wars fantasies early may submit a beta invite application at the game’s official website.
