In its second quarter report released today Activision Blizzard announced that the upcoming reboot to its True Crime series, True Crime: Hong Kong, has been delayed from its original fall 2010 release into next year.
"Additionally, Activision Publishing has moved the anticipated release date for its upcoming open-world action title, True Crime: Hong Kong, from 2010 to 2011 in order to give the development team more time to deliver the high-quality entertainment experience they envision for the game," reads the report.
The game is the successor to True Crime: Streets of LA and the less successful True Crime: New York City. It is being developed by United Front Games for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
