The Quest for El Dorado, a deck-building race game from Ravensburger and designer Reiner Knizia, is quick, fun, and a great lightweight option.
Players will compete on a modular board, playing cards from their personal decks in order to move their explorers along the various different types of terrain on their way to El Dorado. Cards can also be used to purchase new and better cards to add to players’ decks for use after reshuffling previously discarded cards back into their draw piles.
It’s clean, fast, and fun. Worth a look!
