Sony has recently announced that SOCOM 4 and MAG will be losing online multiplayer support early next year.
PlayStation released this statement via Twitter:
“Advisory: Online multiplayer services for MAG, SOCOM Confrontation, and SOCOM 4 will be ending on 01/28/14″
This isn’t too much of a surprise considering the two military-based shooters didn’t manage to attract much attention, getting caught amid the flare of big-name titles during 2011.
