Nintendo was kind enough to let GamerNode editors Eddie Inzauto and Dan Crabtree onto the show floor and into the publisher’s booth hours early on Day 1 of this year’s E3 in Los Angeles to avoid the crowds and enjoy some brightly colored Wii U and 3DS titles.
One such game was Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze on the Wii U, sequel to the Wii’s Donkey Kong Country Returns. Resident DKC aficionado Dan tried his hand at the jungle platformer and offered his expert commentary as we shot video of the GamePad-based demo for your viewing pleasure.
