Kingdom Hearts, the game that struck our hearts with its spectacular fusion of Final Fantasy and Disney characters – complete with a futuristic, fast-paced action-rpg battle system – is back in Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX, now with its official release scheduled for September 10 in North America and September 13 in Europe.
Fully remastered in high definition, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX is a compilation of the critically acclaimed Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, exclusive to the Japanese market in its original release, and Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories. This collection will feature a bundle of enhanced gameplay mechanics, such as using triangle to perform reaction commands (a la KH2), HD cinematic story videos from Nintendo DS-exclusive Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, and PS3 trophies to hunt for.
Customers who pre-order the PS3 exclusive will receive a limited edition art book giving them access to a behind-the-scenes-look at the Kingdom Hearts franchise. The 24-page, hardcover art book will treat fans to an array of visuals such as character renders, promotional art, and artwork of the different Disney worlds from Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.
