Tomorrow is a very exciting day for gamers everywhere as it is the day that Bioshock Infinite will finally be allowed to pass into our hands. But before that, Irrational Games has given everyone a treat with the game’s official launch trailer hitting the Web today.
The game — for those who don’t know — takes place in the year 1912 in the fictional city of Columbia: an airborne metropolis that began life as a sort of floating testament to America’s technological prowess and cultural superiority. However, one day, it broke all contact and has been the subject of many rumors ever since. The protagonist, Booker DeWitt, has been contracted to travel to the city in order to retrieve a certain individual in exchange for forgiveness of certain debts he owes. It is more than likely though that he will come to regret this, as you can see from the official launch trailer that Irrational Games has released.
Well, it looks like Booker is in for a rough time, but for the rest of us this is going to mean a lot of fun. Bioshock Infinite is rated M for Mature and will release for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
