After giving details on the game earlier today, Sony has made yet another huge announcement about UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception.
It’s in 3D.
The game, which is the next chapter in Naughty Dog’s runaway hit series, will feature Malcom Reynolds-lite Nathan Drake traversing through the Arabian Peninsula and the Rub’ al Khali Desert along with his trusty, alcoholic sidekick, Victor "Sully" Sullivan. Along with some amped up graphics and online play, Sony says it has decided to push the demensional envelope as well.
"Throughout UNCHARTED 3, you’ll be taken to spectacular new locations around the globe that will showcase all of the work we’ve taken on to take our physics, particle and visual effects to a new level," Sony wrote on its PlayStation 3 blog.
Jimmy Fallon also tweeted that he’ll be revealing some gameplay of the game December 13 on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
The game is will be coming out "late next year" according to Ann Hennig, Naughty Dog’s creative director. You can also see the a trailer premiering this Saturday on the Spike TV Video Game Awards.
