With the release schedule still way up in the air, Star Wars: The Old Republic gets a trailer showing off what the game will (hopefully) look like for those who choose the Trooper class. Not surprisingly, it packs some heavy firepower.
From fire-launcher to minigun to what looks like a "noobtube", the Trooper commands the battlefield with a wide array of inter-galactic weaponry that rivals even the powers of the Force. It will be interesting to see how these long range weapons balance with lightsaber attacks in an MMO setting, and given the open release window it sounds like EA is giving the Bioware team ample time to make the necessary tweaks.
Until then, enjoy this bit of gameplay for the Republic Trooper until the next epic cinematic trailer comes along.
