Bioshock Infinite will be available in North America on October 16 and worldwide on October 19, 2K Games and Irrational Games announced yesterday. The game will be available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
Answering fan questions on Twitter, Irrational confirmed that the PC version of BioShock Infinite will use Steamworks for achievements and cloud saves. The studio also said it hopes to release a collector’s edition of the game.
“After BioShock, we had a vision for a follow up that dwarfed the original in scope and ambition,” said Ken Levine, creative director of Irrational Games. “BioShock Infinite has been our sole focus for the last four years, and we can’t wait for fans to get their hands on it.”
