Gears of War 3‘s Executive Producer Rod Fergusson revealed new DLC, titled “Forces of Nature,” on GTTV last night. The DLC adds three new maps (Aftermath, Artillery, and Cove) and brings Jacinto and Raven Down to Gears of War 3 multiplayer.
Each map takes place during or right after a natural disaster. Aftermath’s battles take place in a park destroyed by a tsunami, heavy fog messes with your range and visibility in Cove, and serious storms can whip up tornadoes on Artillery. If you have the Gears of War 3 Season Pass, you’ll get the new content for free. There is no word yet on a price for everyone else.
The DLC also includes four character models previously available only to those who pre-ordered, and seven new weapon skins. “{Force of Nature” hits Xbox Live Marketplace on March 27.
