Dallas fans of The Legend of Zelda need to mark their calendars. Nintendo announced today in a press release that the 2012 concert series for the franchise will begin in the Lone Star State on Janurary 10.
The Dallas Symphony Orchestra will perform orchestral arrangements spanning 25 years of Zelda titles that will be accompanied by video content from the games. This new concert series will tour across the United States during 2012 as the The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses.
Tickets for the Dallas concert are ranging from $19 to $115. Members of Club Nintendo can receive a 15 percent discount from now to November 30.
Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales and Marketing, thinks the concert series is a different way to enjoy the franchise saying, “In 2012, we want to give people across the country a chance to come together and enjoy the music from the games that mean so much to so many.”
