Rockstar Games is once again pleasing Max Payne fans by unveiling new screenshots of their highly anticipated game Max Payne 3.
The screenshots show high action, the fan favorite Bullet-Time and Bullet-Cams, as well as the return of the cover system. All of the shots continue the gritty and dark theme this game has always been known for having. In a press release, Rockstar also mentioned that fans can also look forward to a new video this month, however no details were given about what the video will entail or a specific release date.
The game will use Natural Motion’s Euphoria character behavior system to make shootouts more realistic, environments will be more destructible, more detail has been given to Max during fights and even the guns used will have a more substantial feel.
Max Payne 3 will take place eight years after the last game and will not take place in New York but in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The story will center around Max, who is no longer a cop, addicted to painkillers, and working in private security for a wealthy real-estate mogul Rodrigo Branco.
Max Payne 3 will be released in March 2012 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
