Both the PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE services are offering big discounts on a number of downloads this week, and Xbox LIVE is offering access to demos for both Crysis 2 and Bulletstorm starting today.
Sony kicked off it’s 11 for 11 sale promotion by offering discounts on a number of games including Costume Quest, Peggle and DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue along with eight other games, obviously. Click here to see the full list.
The sale on Xbox LIVE is a bit more expansive offering discounts on more that 30 different items. The sale covers content from 2K and Rockstar, and includes DLC from Red Dead Redemption, Mafia 2 and Borderlands. All of the above sales are valid through January 31.
Along with these sales, you can also download demos for the upcoming Crysis 2 and Bulletstorm on Xbox LIVE. Both require an Xbox LIVE Gold membership to download. The Bulletstorm demo is a sampling of the campaign, specifically the ‘Collapsed Building’ level. The Crysis 2 demo is multiplayer, and is titled as the Crysis 2 Multiplayer Closed Beta.
