John Smedley, the president of Sony Online Entertainment, posted on his twitter account that DC Universe Online is, "our fastest selling game ever."
Actually if you want to get get technical, he said, "out fastest selling game ever," but he was quick to correct his typo a few minutes later.
Sony has had problems keeping DC Universe Online in stock, which is a great problem to have as a publisher. No concrete sales numbers have been released to back up Smedley’s claim quite yet, but the game has been successful on Steam, sitting comfortably in the higher rankings since the game released.
Of course the great test of any MMORPG is whether or not it can stay on top, but the initial outlook has been promising.
