A new trailer was released today showing the newest member of the Mortal Kombat reboot: Noob Saibot.
Saibot was first seen as a non-playable opponent back in Mortal Kombat 2. Like Smoke and Jade before, Saibot started as a secret character that would appear if players won 50 matches in a row.
Since then, he’s been given a back story (the original Sub Zero killed by Scorpion) and became a playable character in a number of games, the last being Mortal Kombat: Armageddon.
In the newest trailer, Saibot displays his new costume (looks like the Phantasm from Batman), his shadowy fighting style and even makes Jade vomit on his leg.
Mortal Kombat will be coming out sometime this year for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
