The 3DS really stole the show when it was first announced at E3 back in June 2010. Zelda reboots, the return of Fox McCloud, and of course the incredible no-glasses 3D technology stunned and amazed even the stodgiest of gamers. And while some of these big names may not be coming as soon as the handheld’s release, Nintendo announced the slew of titles that would be making their debut on March 27 earlier today.
Published by Nintendo, Pilotwings Resort (the Wii Sports of the 3DS) will get the gadget-goad for introducing newcomers to the potential of the 3DS technology package. Other first party games include Steel Diver, a submarine navigation game, and Nintendogs + Cats, the next installment in the popular pet-sim series. Third-party publishers will join Nintendo with series like Street Fighter, Super Monkey Ball, Samurai Warriors, Rayman, and The Sims receiving 3D makeovers, among others.
The first-party reboots that got the gamer world hyped are still in the queue for eventual release though no firm dates have been set. But check out the full list of launch titles below for the cast that will be appearing in the first act of the 3DS legacy as well as a list of some of the other built-in features.

Nintendo 3DS also comes pre-loaded with a variety of fun games, applications and features, such as the Nintendo 3DS camera, which can be used to take photos in 2D and 3D as well as be used in other games and applications. For instance, the built-in Face RaidersTM game asks users to shoot at funny depictions of their own photographed faces, while the Mii MakerTM application lets gamers use the camera to take a picture of a person and have an automatic MiiTM character created. The system also comes with six AR Cards, which, when viewed through the outer cameras, bring to life fun and interesting animations and images. For example, when used with nintendogs + cats, users might see their puppies or kittens sitting on their coffee tables or in the palms of their hands. With Nintendo 3DS Sound, users can enjoy sound-manipulation tools or rock out with their Nintendo 3DS system while listening to their MP3 or AAC music files.
Nintendo 3DS is also able to play nearly every game in the massive Nintendo DS library, except those that require use of a secondary Game BoyTM Advance slot.
