Tomb Raiders fans, get your taxes done early, ’cause Lara Croft is springing back into action this April. Eidos Interactive has announced the release of next installment of Tomb Raider for the Xbox, PS2, and the PC on April 11th, 2006. The title is Tomb Raider: Legend. It will be rated T for Teen and will retail at $49.99 for home consoles and $39.99 on PCs. UK gamers will see the title on April 7. Copies of the game for the PSP and Xbox 360 will come shortly after the title’s release on other consoles. Eidos did not elaborate on a specific date. The Tomb Raider series slowed down a bit following the poor performance of 2003™s Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness. With the enlistment of designer Toby Guard, who helped out on the original Tomb Raider in 1996, Crystal Dynamics hopes to put spark back into the franchise. Especially for the Lara Croft fans worldwide.
