Sony CEO, Howard Stringer, has officially admitted to the press that the PS3, will indeed, be delayed for launch this year. He made his remarks to Hollywood industry newspaper, Variety, and stated that the PS3 will most likely be launched towards the end of this year, instead of the planned launch for May in Japan. He attributed the delay to problems with the console™s chipset.
