Electronic Art’s acclaimed franchise Medal of Honor is readying its latest release, Airborne, for this year. Anxious Medal of Honor fans aching to forget the painful playing experience that was Medal of Honor: European Assault can now look forward to the latest iteration of the game to include some in-game advertising, in the form of a deal with Electronic Arts and Jeep.
The classic Willys-Overland Jeep will be playable in ground sequences and will be used for transportation of players as well as an attack platform, and players can use the vehicle’s AWD to access areas other vehicles can’t.
"Video games are quickly becoming the medium of choice for a new generation of consumers and Chrysler Group has been at the forefront of this exciting revolution," said Jay Kuhnie, Director – Jeep Communications, Chrysler Group.
Looking at the game’s title we’ve yet to determine if the Jeep will be able to take flight.
