Although it’s very common for the game industry to slow its pace during the summer, Xbox 360 owners will still have a good reason to stay out of the heat when Sega is set to release their much anticipated game, Chromehounds.
Developed by the same team behind the Armored Core series, the next gen title will offer players the chance to experience squad-based mech combat (and all the chaos that comes with it) from the cockpit of a fully customizable metal colossus.
Of course, if that isn’t enough to wet your appetite, Chromehounds is also catering to Xbox Live subscribers looking to take the fight online. Players will be able to use parts obtained from their single player missions to help them gain a competitive edge against other players in various multiplayer modes including deathmatch, capture the flag, and the sure-to-be-popular cooperative gameplay. Mark your calendars for July 11, 2006 when the game goes on sale.
