Jack Tretton, President of Sony Computer Entertainment of America was interviewed by MSNBC and tried to convince the world that the $100 price drop by Sony was due to Sony wanting consumers to get a price break as soon as possible and not because sales for the PS3 were lagging behind its competition.
Whether you believe Mr. Tretton or not depends on what side of the fence you’re on — Sony is out for the interest of consumers or Sony is out of reasons on why they wouldn’t lower it’s price of its PS3.
