Fans of the Metal Gear Solid series rejoice! Konami announced today in a press release new details about Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.
The collection of PSP and PlayStation 2 titles have been remastered and will be available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this winter. Some of the new features for the collection will include upgraded sound effects, icons and fonts, 1080p and 60 fps graphics, and a rebalanced user interface for HD.
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker will get an upgrade as well for the collection with the addition of right analog stick input and force feedback. The new save data sharing technology, transfarring, will also be implemented and will be compatible with the PSP version.
Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will include the hit games Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. It will also include the ports of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, which were included in Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence.
