If you own an Xbox 360 version of Guitar Hero III, today you’re able to download — for free — the Halo Theme Mjolnir Mix. That’s right: one of the greatest themes in gaming history, and you can download and play it for free. If you own the 360 copy of Guitar Hero III, that is. If you’re like me and own the PS3 one, you’ll just be fuming about not getting the MGS theme or something of equal coolness today.
People have been speculating that it’s a Thanksgiving-only download, but Microsoft (or RedOctane) have yet to comment on that. Since it is a holiday here in the US, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was no official word until tomorrow morning, at which point the question would be pointless.
